New Shoes

Went to Chapel St with my Mum and cousin recently. Got three pairs of shoes. Really happy with all of them but the Melissa's are my favourites. I absolutely adore Melissa shoes! I got my first pair a couple of months ago after wanting the Vivienne Westwood Mary Janes for years but never been able to find the colour I wanted and my size. So irritating :(

On to happier things, pictures of my pretty new shoes!

19

Last Sunday was my 19th birthday! Here is a pic of some of my flowers. 19 feels funny. Sort of in between and not like the 'major' birthdays like 18 or 21. I had a wonderful day, dinner with my parents and cousins in the evening.

Flickr

I've decided to make a proper flickr account for all the random photos I take. I doubt I will be posting all of them on my blog but if your interested feel free to check it out!
I've been taking a lot of photos on my iphone recently, the camera in the iphone 4 is so much better than the one in my last iphone!
I've also been looking into getting a DSLR for a long time but I keep getting overwhelmed by all the different options. I'm thinking a Nikon or Canon. There was also a brand I hadn't heard of my cousin mentioned starting with L? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Disney at ACMI

So far I've been to the Dreams come True exhibition at the ACMI twice. I absolutely love it. Went with a friend a few weeks ago and then last week with one of my cousins. It was good to see artwork from Tangled too and I cannot wait to finally see it when it comes out this week.

Also had a look at The Raft by Bill Viola. I've never seen anything like it but my cousin had seen something of his in Holland and so we decided to check it out. Very interesting.

Also pictured are random dvds I bought at Borders. I have a very hate/love relationship with Gossip Girl. I still keep up with storylines but haven't watched properly since the middle of season 3. I did watch the most recent one and enjoyed it so I may start watching properly again.

I absolutely LOVED Exit Through The Gift Shop when I saw it with a friend at Nova. Such a great movie/documentary whatever you wish to call it. I've watched it twice this past week. Showed it to my best friend and one of my cousins and they both really liked it. I highly recommend it to anyone who is the slightest bit interested in street art or art in general. What I'm trying to say is, everyone watch it!
